When her beautician and family friend of over 15 years asked Valerie Hough to plan her wedding, Valerie was both surprised and flattered. Since she had never planned a wedding before and never thought that she would, Valerie could not believe what she was hearing. From that point on, Fall 2000, Valerie decided to become more knowledgeable of the wedding planning process by enrolling in an 18-month wedding and event planning course. She completed the course successfully and has the certificate to prove it.   With several years of wedding planning under her belt, Valerie has been an enlightening asset to those couples wanting to create the wedding they have always dreamed of having.  

Valerie is known for her extra attention to detail, good organizational skills and determination to succeed in whatever she sets her mind to doing.   As a result of her hard work and persistance, she has achieved one of her goals of becoming an outstanding wedding planner. She has helped many couples turn their dreams into reality by creating a memorable wedding day that will never be forgotten.

Captivating Creations By Valerie consists of several associate wedding consultants who assist Valerie in many areas of planning each of her clients' events. You will see the passion that Valerie and her associates have for the wedding planning business at any of the many weddings they have created. Seeing the smile on their couples' faces throughout their wedding day leaves a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction to their lives. Knowing that they had a part to play in creating such a memorable occasion is a fulfilling sentiment.
